Pinta is an efficient drawing and editing program. It allows you to use images from your computer or create your own designs. It has a basic toolbar that you can use to carry out the modifications you want. Furthermore, it is an effective drawing program with which you can vary the thickness and color of your strokes, as well as lines, shapes, text, and more.
On the right side, Pinta has a section where you can find the number of pages and layers you are using, as well as the history of the actions you performed in your Project; thus, you can go back to a previous stage if you need it. Also, it shows tabs with the pages you have opened, so you can better organize your work. Some of the tools in the lateral toolbar do not work depending on the superposition of layers, which can be a hassle if you want to use them together with others. Although all of these tools have a dialog box showing its purpose, some of them are confusing if you are not familiar with this type of programs.
Pinta needs some previous knowledge on the use of digital drawing and editing programs such as Photoshop; otherwise, its use can be confusing.
The program is open source, so you can download and use it for free, and even modify its source code.
